The brief from this icon of British retail was to create an engaging, innovative, dynamic and modern 150th anniversary celebration for partner employees.
Anthem, working for client lead MCM Creative, assembled a world leading technical team to develop and deliver a complex and demanding multi faceted event and broadcast experience for a live arena audience linked via satellite to several live sites across the UK.
From the Olympic style opening parade to the live dramatisation of the John Lewis story to A list music performances from artists linked to the cherished TV commercials this was an awe inspiring way to celebrate one of Britain’s best loved brands.
The event won C&IT Magazine Awards ‘Internal Communications of the Year’ and Event Magazine Awards ‘Creative Event of the Year’.
